Is your equipment insured when I rent from you? |
All our items are insured for all cover in New Zealand and this insurance is included in our prices. |
How much is your insurance excess? |
Should any damage or loss occur during your rental period a charge will apply to either repair, replacement cost or a maximum of $800 excess for the damaged equipment.

Is a bond payment required when I rent from you? |
For first time customers who are unable to register in person, or do not hold a New Zealand Drivers license or passport, you will be required to pay a bond. The amount will vary depending on the value of the equipment hired.
For registered clients no bond is required however all rental invoices must be paid for in full before or upon pick up. |
Do you have free delivery in Auckland? |
We deliver and pick up free of charge in the Auckland Central districts on rentals over $500. On all other rentals we are happy to arrange delivery or pick up for a small charge

Do you supply out of town rentals? |
Yes we are happy to supply any rentals within NZ. We organize delivery to your door and pick up after your rental. We charge double the normal daily rate for one or two day rentals and 1.5 times for weekly rentals. This service is limited to items with a combined weight under 25kg.
A minimum charge of $70+GST applies to all out of town courier orders

If I rent for a week and you courier to me when does my week start & finish? |
For week rentals the rental start date is the date you requested the item for and runs for 7 days. We will arrange pick up on the morning of the 8th day. If your rental arrives early, your week still begins on the day you requested the items for.

How does a weekend rental work? |
We are now open on Saturday mornings. If you have a rental for over the weekend please pick up on Saturday morning.
Saturday morning pickups (After 10am) and Monday returns (Before 10am) will be charged for as a day rental.
For rentals to be used early on Saturday mornings you are welcome to pick up on Friday afternoon AFTER 4pm on special arrangement and subject to availability. It will still only be a one day charge as long as the gear is returned before 10am on Monday.
Pickups earlier than 4pm on Friday and returned only on Monday morning will be charged for at 1.5 times the normal daily rate.
Pickups on Friday (Anytime) that are returned before 10am on Saturday will be charged for as a one day rental.

What are your opening hours? |
Our opening hours are:
Monday - Friday: 8:30am - 5:30pm
Saturday: 8:30am - 12:30pm |
What are your pickup and return times? |
Pickup is between 16:00 and 17:15 the day before your booked rental starts.
Return is between 8:30 and 10:00 the day after your rental ended.
Late returns will be charged at 1.5 times the full daily rate for each day late.

How do I pay? |
We have EFTPOS facilities on site so you can pay via DEBIT card, CREDIT card, CASH or CHEQUE. You could also pay via BANK TRANSFER a couple of days before your rental starts. |
Can I return gear outside of your normal business hours? |
Yes you can, but you will need to arrange it with us and a $50 Surcharge will apply. |
Do I need to be NZ citizen to rent from you? |
If you are a traveller and require some gear during your stay we are happy to help out, We do have some additional security requirements however and will require additional information from you as well as a security deposit. |
How do I become a registered, existing client? |
You will need to register with us in person and provide us with the following details.
New Zealand drivers license or passport.
Credit card / EFTpos card.
Proof of address
If you can not provide us these or if you can not register in person we will require a bond. This bond can be a cash deposit or an amount authorized and put on hold on your credit card. The exact amount of the bond will be dependent on the value of the equipment to be rented.
